RSU hosts 4th National Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine: reflecting on 30 years of the sector and looking ahead to the future

On 28 and 29 November, the 4th Latvian National Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine took place at the Main Building of Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU). This year’s event was particularly significant, marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of a targeted rehabilitation system in Latvia. Under the motto ‘People. Environment. Participation’, the congress brought together more than 350 participants to reflect on past achievements, address current challenges, and outline a roadmap for the sector’s future.

A historic moment for sports at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) – both RSU volleyball teams have reached the Latvian Cup final. We invite the RSU community to come and support our players this Saturday, 13 December , at the Rimi Olympic Center in Riga (6b Grostonas iela).

The Erasmus+ programme supports projects in education, professional development, innovation, and international cooperation, providing opportunities for universities, researchers, administrative staff, and other stakeholders to implement initiatives of international scope.

Various RSU structural units already participate successfully in Erasmus+ projects both as project coordinators and as valued partners. The European Commission has announced a new call for proposals for spring 2026.
