Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) has retained its position as the reputation leader in Latvia’s higher education sector for the tenth consecutive year, according to the latest university reputation survey conducted by the research company Fifty5blue (formerly Kantar). The findings confirm that RSU is the highest-rated university not only among the general Latvian population but also among young people.
How does scientific research reach the wider public, not just the academic community? Three graduates of the Art Therapy master’s programme at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) – Anastasija Gromova, Dārta Melngalve and Kristīne Kirfa – addressed this question in their master's theses.

Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) will once again participate in the Lampa conversation festival this year. All interested parties are invited to the stage Uzzibsnī, where researchers from the RSU Faculty of Social Sciences will host a discussion ‘Climate Thinking - an Elite Privilege?’ in Cēsis Castle Park on 10 July from 20:00 to 21:00. The discussion will take place in Latvian, and be streamed live.
‘A patient in palliative care is not merely a person suffering from the specific manifestations of an illness. They have their own life story, experiences, relationships, values, and emotions. In palliative medicine, attention is focused not only on symptoms, but on the person as a whole, both in a direct and broader sense,’ emphasises Unda Jukone, a recent graduate of the Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) additional specialty residency programme Palliative Care Specialist.
