Objective

To provide and improve theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the work of information processing and analysis specialist.

Assignments:
1. To provide theoretical knowledge on operational analysis and its importance, geography of crime analysis, analytical project work organization and planning, software use options in WINDOWS and interactive environment, possibilities of specialised software in the process of analysis and data import.
2. Improve practical skills in the area of information processing and analysis.
3. Improvement of practical skills in analytical work, situation modelling.

Prerequisites

Completed study course “Introduction to Information Systems and Technologies”.

Knowledge

The ability to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge on operational analysis and outcome analysis.

Skills

The ability to apply general and specialised terminology, complete practical assignments that are related to operational analysis and its importance, geography of crime analysis, analytical project work organization and planning, software use options in WINDOWS and interactive environment, possibilities of specialised software in the process of analysis and data import.
