About Study Course
Objective
The aim of the study course is to prepare a professional who has knowledge and skills in the field of management, organisation and supervision of the occupational safety system, in the areas of work environment risks, analysis and forecasting, and who is able to identify the risks of the workplace of their own or their subordinate staff and to take decisions.
Tasks: to promote the knowledge acquisition of the occupational safety.
Prerequisites
Basics of Employment Law.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge of the regulatory framework for employment legal relations in Latvia.
Plan occupational safety and the related environmental protection activities in the company.
Ability to analyse and apply in practice the requirements of regulatory laws and regulations and standards in the area of occupational safety; ability to recognise the risks of the working environment.
