Objective

To promote the development of competence of health professionals that would ensure and implement an evidence-based care process individually and by participating in research and projects in the field of health care and social welfare.

Prerequisites

Knowlegde in professional subjects in midwifery care, informatics and statistical methods.

• Recognize and describe the importance of research in health care.
• Will be able to name and describe research principles, ethical aspects and regulatory enactments.
• Will be able to describe the types of research design and research cycle.
• Will be able to describe the research problem, topicality and basic research principles.

• Will be able to use research methodology and terminology.
• Will be able to apply Nursing theories and concepts in research.
