About Study Course
Objective
To ensure that having completed the course, students are able to use Russian for communication in daily life in accordance with the description of skills corresponding to level A1 of the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment”.
Prerequisites
No prior knowledge of Russian required.
Learning outcomes
After a successful mastering of the study course the student will know the vocabulary of the standard Russian language, understand simple statements and questions, use the necessary phrases for initiating a conversation, maintaining it, transferring information; be familiar with the formation and use of the most common Russian language structures, present, past and future tenses of the verb.
After a successful mastering of the study course the student will be able to: understand simple texts on familiar everyday topics, write letters and invitations, short messages, write down simple information, able to form a monologue and dialogue on different topics related to life and studies.
After completing the study course, the student will be able to use the language structures learned in daily communication.
