Objective

Student media operates as a laboratory where students practice developing of qualitative media materials. During the study course students learn how to develop a story from ideas, plan gathering of materials, process it, work with text, photography and sound and prepare work until its publishing stage.

Prerequisites

Completed course Introduction to the Studies and Speciality.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Will gain practical knowledge:
- On planning the work of a medium.
- On organising the work of a medium, work of the editorial team.
- On preparing publications in different genres and formats.
- On the media content communication.

Skills

After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- To plan and manage study media work.
- To work in student media.
- To prepare publications.
- To prepare and manage media content communication.
- To work in an editorial team.
