Knowledge in history of world, history of Latvia and natural sciences.
Objective:
To expand the global vision, promote scientific thinking, create associations between medical sciences and other fields.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:The students will acquire basic knowledge in the history of medicine and nursing professional development, identify development of medicine with sister professional development.
Skills:Upon completion of the study course the students will explain and interpret the role of discovery in the medical history.
Competencies:To formulate and analytically describe historical information, problems and solutions in profession, explaining them and discuss them by providing arguments.
