Preliminary Knowledge:
Knowledge in the field of economics and management.
Objective:
To develop students’ understanding about work with personnel, the role and function of a manager in organisations, as well as to upgrade their knowledge about practical aspects in daily personnel management.

Unaided Work:
To link the knowledge obtained during lectures and practical classes with practice, developing a situation analysis about the specific personnel management situation from own experience.
Assessment Criteria:
Participation in lectures. Participation and activity in practical classes. Quality of fulfilment, presentation and defence of an independent work – situation analysis.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:After mastering the course students understand the nature of personnel management in general, learn different management styles and methods, competences necessary to managers and employees, their evaluation.
Skills:After mastering the course students use obtained knowledge analysing cases from students’ experience (situation analysis). Model team building and employee motivation situations.
Competencies:After mastering the course students are able to analyse different personnel management situations, constructively resolving personnel management related matters.
