To develop an understanding of research terms, categories, research approaches and theories and be able to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in practical work.

Unaided Work:
1. To search for research, scientific articles in databases – identify and present scientific categories, conclusions 2. To analyse samples of research instruments – questionnaires, interviews, observation and document analysis protocols, according to the theoretical course, pointing out errors 3. To search for and formulate a research topic, set an objective, hypothesis or question, define scientific categories 4. To build a research instrument 5. To read a scientific article, draw conclusions 6. To make a presentation on the chosen research topic
Assessment Criteria:
Theoretical knowledge, skills in planning the research process, designing an effective research instrument.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:In the study process, the student will learn the most important aspects of research, ethical principles, types and methods of research, research instruments.
Skills:As a result of the study course, the student will be able to apply theoretical knowledge in practice, analyse research papers, define scientific categories, set a research objective and organise the research process, achieving the research result.
Competencies:Will be able to analyse scientific literature and carry out practical research on an ongoing basis.
