Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Knowledge about the social assistance and the system of the social services, knowledge of the social legislation, social insurance; knowledge of solving a social case; knowledge of social work in crisis situations.
Objective:
Promote basic knowledge about psychosocial rehabilitation. Build awareness of psychosocial rehabilitation as one of the fields of rehabilitation. Develop skills for developing up a psychosocial rehabilitation plan.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Development of psychosocial rehabilitation plan, presentation of social services network. Students have to work on the developing a description of the psychosocial plan step-by step, taking into account the conditions for the design of the plan and the client's problems. Improve and complete the psychosocial rehabilitation plan. Prepare the presentation independently, including the main elements of the psychosocial plan and justify your opinion in the presentation.
Assessment Criteria:
Test: Development of a psychosocial rehabilitation plan, presentation of social services network – 80% • The plan is developed by sequentially describing all elements of the psychosocial plan; • Precisely defined problem, goal, methods, involved specialists, execution time, etc. • The plan takes into account the social problems of the client and social needs, and the evaluation. Active participation in classes and discussions – 20%.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:As a result of the study course acquisition students will have knowledge about: • the types of rehabilitation; • the psychosocial rehabilitation; • the process of creating a psychosocial rehabilitation team; • principles and competences of professional cooperation in psychosocial rehabilitation team; • methods and skills of social work in psychosocial rehabilitation.
Skills:At the end of the course students will be able to: • integrate the acquired theoretical knowledge into practical studies; • develop a psychosocial rehabilitation plan; • identify the opportunities of the social services network; • assess the need for resources.
Competencies:Students will be able to develop a psychosocial rehabilitation plan based on an analysis of the client's social problems and social needs; Be able to understand the process of creation a psychosocial plan and the need to solve client's problems; Will be able to distinquish the differences of the psychosocial rehabilitation compared to social rehabilitation and specifics of clients of psychosocial rehabilitation service.
