Preliminary Knowledge:
Acquisition of the study program.
Objective:
The state examination in the professional bachelor's study program "Midwifery" is organized in accordance with the Study Regulations of Rīga Stradiņš University, the State Examination Regulations of RSU and the procedure for conducting the State Examination in the "Midwifery" program approved by the Council of SVSLF. The state examination consists of the state examination and the defense of the final thesis. The purpose of the national examination is to check the achieved study results in accordance with the goals and content of the study program and the assigned qualification.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Revision of theoretical literature and independent work at MITC.
Assessment Criteria:
The national exam is evaluated, taking into account the evaluation of the practical part, OSKE and the results of the test. In order to receive a positive assessment in the State examination, all its parts must be passed successfully. The overall assessment of the State Examination is formed by adding up the obtained assessments in each part of the examination, in accordance with the Study Regulations and the Regulations of the State Examination.
