Preliminary Knowledge:
Anatomy, physiology.
Objective:
Acquire knowledge and skills for alternative aids, their application needs and training methods. To get basic understanding of the various technical aids to be used in work of an audiologist.

Individual work – literature review. Working drawing up plans for working with children with communication difficulties and its harmonization with the teacher.
Assessment Criteria:
• Active and fruitful participation in lectures and practical classes; • Independent work presentations; • At the end of course test.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Will be able to define and describe the nature of the AAC system, will be able to describe alternative aids user groups. Will know and will be able to describe the translation of training methods. Gain knowledge about AAC practical application at work.
Skills:Will be able to select the desired alternative system aids in connection with the speech disorder severity. Learn aids operating principles, ways and means to work with people who have communication and interaction difficulties.
Competencies:Will be able to apply practical communication training systems and methods: object system, images, pictures, speech whiteboard.
