Preliminary Knowledge: | Professional degree in rehabiliation speciality (PT, OT, Speech Therapist ect.). | ||||||||
Objective: | To deepen comprehension about organisational models of medical rehabilitation system, regulatory documents in national and EU level, model of medical rehabilitation organisation and financing in Latvia. | ||||||||

Knowledge: | Students will be able to describe different models of medical rehabiliation organisation at different levels of planning, different financing models, necessary professional resources; will be able to explain the models implemented in various countries. | ||||||||
Skills: | Students will be able to evaluate and analyse strengths and weaknesses, cost-effectiveness, continuity of medical rehabiliation organisation models; plan and develop proposals for improvement of medical rehabiliation services. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Students will gain understanding about the medical rehabilitation system in Latvia and EU and ability to systematically and analytically evaluate and plan medical rehabilitation services to reach needs in level of individuals and society. | ||||||||
