Preliminary Knowledge:
Knowledge and skills acquired to obtain a qualification as a physiotherapist and a bachelor's degree in health care
Objective:
To develop the ability to develop and create a standardized assessment protocols and to promote their use in physiotherapy practice, based on context assessment, analysis of experience, as well as bringing creative and innovative ideas to improve the quality of physiotherapy services.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Students search, select and critical read latest scientific publications, summarize results and draws reasonable conclusions. Students look into guidelines of professional associations of other countries, analyse how to adapt them to the local context. Development of project work in a small (2-3) student's group.
Assessment Criteria:
Visual-audial seminar presentation about analysis of literature on standardized assessment tools and its comparison on a chosen topic. Participation in discussions during pratical classes and seminars – formulation and explanation of a reasoned opinion, creative approach to solving problems, asking questions that promote understanding and thinking. Interim report and final report of the project work (small student's groups).

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Describes the elements of standardized assessment in physiotherapy practice. Describes various guidelines of professional organizations of physiotherapists on assessment and documentation standards. Describes binding current legislation in the context of patient data documentation and managment.
Skills:Summarizes assessment tools relevant to a scope of physiotherapy practice. Compares and evaluates various assessment tools depending on time consumption, cost, sensitivity and specificity, changes over time, etc., linking to the ICF frame and the context of physiotherapy practice. Analyzes the ways of application and specifics considerations in different assessment and documentation tools.
Competencies:Creates and develops appropriate assessment protocols and promotes their use in physiotherapy practice, based on context assessment, experience analysis, as well as bringing creative and innovative ideas to improve the quality of physiotherapy services.
