Objective:
To help students adapt to their course and the study process in general; to promote the motivation of students as future psychologists for professional development and self-improvement for further education and lifelong learning; to promote students' self-awareness and self-reflection, ability to deal with different communication situations and to work in teem.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Active participation in classes, independent reading of literature sources and making a summary of what has been read (student creates his / her summary of the communication using the indicated literature or other. He submits the summary in e-studies. The summary cannot be made from only one source, the minimum is 3 sources), self-analysis work about the experience in training, self-reflection work about one's social skills. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
Attendance of practical classes and active participation – 60%. Final summary – 20%. Self-analysis work –10%, self-reflection work on one's social skills – 10%.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Students understand the essence of communication, analyse factors influencing communication, understand the importance of social skills in communication with individuals, groups, and teams of professionals.
Skills:In practice, social skills are used and communication skills are applied in cooperation with colleagues; distinguish between effective and ineffective listening; have skills in self-reflection and managing one's emotional state.
Competencies:Apply self-reflection and social skills working independently or in a group/ team. Able to assess the impact of their exposure on others, independently promote the development of their competencies and further professional development.
