Anatomy, physiology, biomechanics.
Objective:
To acquire basic skills for indoor bicycle classes management.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Independently acquire a variety of topics from the literature suggested by the course lecturer. Enhance and strengthen the skills and abilities.
Assessment Criteria:
Student's participation in the practical classes is assessed (30%), knowledge on management of methodology in classes individually and in groups, using an exercise bike (40%), ability to show and explain the use of exercises (30%).

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Historical background of indoors bicycle classes, physiological characteristics and structure of classes, training concepts, aerobic, anaerobic exercise training.
Skills:On completion of the study course students will be able to lead indoors bicycle classes using a variety of physiological loads and training concepts to prepare and present own training schemes set up for customers of different ages and physical fitness levels.
Competencies:Student will be able to use the bikes and run sessions indoors, choose the most appropriate and effective training programmes to increase customers' aerobic work capacity.
