Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Anatomy, Physiology, Biomechanics, Psychology and Pedagogy; culture of movement; gymnastics basics and terminology.
Objective:
To teach Pilates exercises to various levels of fitness with and without equipment, teach theory of stretching and strength endurance exercises, practical skills and abilities for beginners, intermediate and high level of training. Perform training on myofascial relaxation exercises with equipment.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Perform and demonstrate various Pilates, stretching and strength endurance exercises, individually or in groups, to improve own physical condition. To independently study different course topics according to the literature sources indicated by the lecturer.
Assessment Criteria:
Testing during the study process (35%), theoretical (25%) and practical (40%) examination.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:On completion of the course students will know Pilates, stretching and strength edurance exercise techniques and theory; aspects of instructor's professionalism; Pilates, MFR, stretching and strength endurance exercise techniques; the basics of planning and making a gymnastics class.
Skills:On completion of the course students will be able to perform Pilates, stretching and strength endurance exercises in a technically correct manner; methodically conduct Pilates, MFR, stretching and strength endurance classes, or synthesize them and dose loads; correct customer errors and control exercise techniques; compile different lesson programmes depending on the chosen goal, group readiness or equipment used in the class.
Competencies:Exercise methods: Pilates, MFR, stretching and strength endurance theory, health exercise tutorial: appropriate introduction; movement execution techniques; logical sequence of exercises in the exercise programme, appropriate error correction.
