The RSU mentoring programme is designed to provide incoming students with mentoring support in transition to academic life, to better integrate into the local community and to encourage communication among the students.

Participation in the mentoring programme is voluntary and is offered through mentoring, i.e. information transfer consisting of consultations, other forms of information exchange and communication, during which the advisor or mentor delivers valuable practical advice to new students (or mentees) on the RSU study process, campus, accommodation, community and other issues.

The mentor and the student mutually agree on the frequency of meetings and the form of communication.

To make sure that integration is effective, each mentor may not mentor more than three students at the same time.

The mentor’s assistance is evaluated based on feedback provided by the mentees in written form. The mentoring programme for incoming foreign students is coordinated by the RSU's International Department.
