Slovenian lecturers in family medicine visit RSU
On 23 and 24 May Mateja Bulc and Nena Kopčavar Guček from the University of Ljubljana visited RSU upon the invitation of Rīga Stradiņš University Department of Family Medicine. Both lecturers specialise in family medicine.
The lectures and interactive classes that were conducted by the visiting doctors highlighted essential topics in the field of family medicine – risk assessment and the benefits of preventive measures, the latest in vaccination, how to apply common guidelines to individual patients, domestic violence, as well how doctors can take care of their own health.
Recordings of the lectures will be available to RSU students and residents.
