The traditional Midsummer celebrations at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) will take place on 16 June, in the courtyard of the Pharmaceutical Education and Research Centre.

On Tuesday, 17 March, the laboratory of the Institute of Microbiology and Virology at the RSU Science Centre will be officially inaugurated. The laboratory was established in cooperation with the technology company Biosan Ltd.
The new laboratory marks an important collaboration between research and industry, strengthening the link between science and the development of laboratory technologies.
Biosan Ltd. operates in the fields of laboratory equipment, bioprocesses, and molecular diagnostics.
We are very proud and delighted to announce that on 19 May Sandra Lejniece, Professor at the Department of Internal Diseases at Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU) and Head of the Chemotherapy and Haematology Clinic at Riga East Clinical University Hospital, has been awarded the European Order of Merit.
