Objective

To further the acquisition of theoretical knowledge and its practical application on the subject of project development and management by developing and presenting a project in a group of students on a topic according to their interest for submission to one of their chosen national or international calls for project proposals.

Not required.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Students explain the concept of the project, mention the basic principles for its creation, planning, implementation and management, as well as team formation, attraction of funds and risk assessment.

Skills

Students select and compile the information about the available project tenders, define a topical and creative project idea, plan the aspects of activities, funding, control, risk management, communication and teamwork, as well as select the collaboration partners. Describe the project according to the criteria and structure, laid down by the chosen project tender. Present their own idea and project.

Competence

During the teamwork, students plan and describe a project which corresponds to the basic principles of project management and present it to the audience.
