Objective

Using the METC (Medical Education Technology Center) simulator ULTRASIM, to equip students with practical and theoretical skills in visualizing the most common abdominal and thyroid abnormalities.

Prerequisites

Human physiology and anatomy, internal diseases, the contents of section A of the study program "Radiology I" have been successfully studied.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

As a result of the study course acquisition, students acquire additional knowledge of the most common abdominal and thyroid gland pathology in the USG visualization.

Skills

Practical skills in working with the USG. Usage of different detectors by the USG. USG Anatomy. USG diagnostic of pathological changes.

Competence

The student is able to apply knowledge and abdominal and thyroid gland USG.
