rsu[pnkts]lv. The person indicated in the request will have to present their student ID, passport or national ID card in order to receive or renew your student ID.
- My student ID card does not work. What can be done?
Student ID could not work because of few of these issues:
- The chip of the card could be damaged - if you put your wallet near the payment terminal when in shops, instead of only using your bank card, the terminal system could potentially scramble the ID cards chip;
- More cards than one is active - if you requested a new card and found your old card, there might be a slight chance that the old card was not deactivated, which would block all of them;
- A faulty card - rarely, but a small chance it could happen.
If you are experiencing an issue with your student ID, please come to Student Services in order to deal with it. We will either make you a new card or fix the issue with multiple cards being active.

- Can I send my application via email?
Student Services accepts applications submitted via email. Bear in mind that Student Services ONLY accepts applications sent via your official RSU email account ending in @rsu.edu.lv!
