The Institute of Public Health is organising a seminar on SHARE (Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe) with an insightful overview, detailed examination of data collection, and exploration of data structure, documentation, publication, and citation. The seminar will delve into retrospective life history data, accompanying datasets, and the significance of SHARE Corona Surveys, concluding with practical tips and tricks for first-time users, collected from previous Q&A sessions.

Students and research staff are welcome to attend the workshop.

Facilitator

s_gruber.pngDr Stefan Gruber is a database manager at the SHARE Berlin Institute, responsible for data base management, documentation, and user support. His experience and expertise ensure efficient data collection, storage, and utilization within SHARE projects, providing researchers and policymakers with reliable and readily accessible data on physical and mental health, social networks, and economic circumstances of the European population aged 50+. He uses SHARE data for his research on the long-term consequences of Intra-European migration for subjective well-being.
