Objective

The purpose of drafting of a final paper is to strengthen theoretical knowledge in the field of communication sciences, to improve applied skills and competences, which are necessary to autonomously draft a high-level creative project in multimedia communication, photography, journalism or public relations.

Prerequisites

Study courses of the first semester have been mastered successfully.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Students know in depth the theoretical framework, principles, structure and practical work methods of the branch of information and communication science, which are necessary for the implementation of projects in photography and multimedia technologies. Know in depth the history of development, the theory and current challenges of the branch of information and communication science, including critical understanding of theory and principles.

Skills

Students are able to autonomously select a pressing and innovative topic for their creative project in the branch of information and communication science and to implement it. Know how to select and use technologies and technical solutions corresponding to the branch of information and communication sciences to implement creative projects in photography and multimedia in a masterful and innovative way. Demonstrate high-level skills, which are necessary to resolve complex and unpredictable problems in the branch of information and communication science.

Competence

In accordance with the peculiarities of the branch of information and communication science, students are able to independently obtain, select and analyse information and use it to do creative work. Able to lead complex creative projects and assume responsibility for decision-making in unpredictable work and learning conditions, as well as assume responsibility for management of professional development of persons or teams. Able to assume responsibility for the effects of their professional activity on the environment and community, as well as understand professional ethics of the branch of information and communication sciences.
