Personal data processing

In order to ensure correct processing of the personal data of the conference participants, we would like to inform you that the personal data of the participants may be processed – photos may be taken, voice or video recordings may be made. Your personal data may be used to ensure the legitimate interests of RSU – to inform the public and to organize communication and marketing activities (including the preparation and posting of material on the RSU website and/or social networks, as well as in the mass media).

Photos and videos may be taken at the site of the event. In this case, informative signs are placed at the entrance, informing that photos and videos are being taken or the video broadcast is being streamed during the event. Photos and videos of a person can be posted on the RSU website and/or social networks, as well as in the mass media.

Your participation in the conference is completely voluntary. If you have agreed to participate in the event, you are entitled to suspend your participation at any time.

What personal data may be processed

  1. Person’s name, surname – necessary for the identification of the person
  2. Workplace, position – for summarising and analysing the results of the event
  3. E-mail address, phone number – to be able to contact the person and send the necessary information
  4. Photos, voice and/or video recording – to inform the public and to organize communication and marketing activities

Legal basis for personal data processing: Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Recipient of personal data: staff of the University.

Processing and storage of personal data

The application for the event, the video recording and photos will be kept at the University until withdrawal of consent.

Rights of the person

A person has the right to become acquainted with his or her personal data stored by the University. The person also has the right to request the rectification and deletion of the data – the person may withdraw his or her consent to the processing of personal data at any time. The University ensures the fulfilment of data processing and protection requirements in accordance with regulatory enactments and in case of objections takes useful actions to resolve the objection.
