RSU Rector's Announcement to 1st Year Students About the Start of the 2020/2021 Academic Year

Dear newly enrolled RSU Student,
Congratulations on being admitted to Rīga Stradiņš University (RSU)! I am delighted to learn that you will be joining RSU this autumn and hope that you feel enthusiastic about starting your studies at our university.
To help you better prepare for your studies at RSU, I would like to inform you about several important matters:
- The academic year 2020/2021 at RSU will start as previously scheduled on 31 August 2020. An expanded overview of the academic year can be found here;
- Studies will be delivered remotely until 4 October 2020. You are not required to move to Latvia sooner than this date. You will be able to study remotely from your home country during the first five weeks of Autumn Semester 2020;
- Starting from 5 October 2020 RSU will provide blended studies that combine onsite and remote learning. RSU expects you to be present in Latvia by 5 October. Please arrange your travel to, and accommodation in Latvia before this date.
The epidemiological situation may change rapidly, therefore please continue to monitor RSU’s website and your e-mail for updates.
