Choosing a university abroad for your studies is not easy as so many factors must be taken into account: which is the best university? Which is the friendliest one? Will you like the city and the people? Join our Open Days to find out what RSU has to offer and what student life in Riga is like!
RSU Open Days are a unique opportunity for you to:
- Get to know the university;
- Get your very first glimpses of the city of Riga;
- Learn about such important aspects of student life in Riga as safety, health and accommodation;
- Learn about the study programmes we offer in English;
- Get to know the benefits of studying in Europe and in Latvia;
- Get to know the academic admissions requirements;
- Meet several of our students;
- Discuss the application process;
- Ask specific questions to the Head of the RSU International Admissions Office.

An online Open Day includes:
- An introduction to Latvia and its capital city Riga;
- A presentation of the programmes offered at RSU in English;
- Information about application requirements and admissions;
- An introduction to studies by several of our international students;
- An extensive question and answer session.

On-site
A typical on-site Open Day includes:
- A meeting with the staff of the RSU International Admissions Office;
- An introduction to Latvia and its capital city Riga;
- A presentation of the programmes offered at RSU in English;
- An introduction to studies by several of our international students;
- A question and answer session;
- A guided University tour, including the Dentistry Pre-clinic and the Medical Education Technology Centre (METC).
The visit to the University usually takes 2 to 3 hours. Afterwards you are welcome to enjoy Riga's Old Town and other tourist attractions – we will provide you with some suggestions and a map of the city centre.
Please note that Open Days are designed primarily for prospective applicants. We will be happy to see all enrolled students during Orientation Week!
